Designed in the great modernist tradition. Nightfall derives its geometric form from the demands of its inherent function, the orchestration of its materials and the beauty of its surrounds.
Nightfall rests discretely at the entrance of Melbourne’s entertainment and recreation precincts – and project partners DKO Architecture wanted it to serve as a cultural barometer and beacon. Residents of Nightfall’s superbly appointed one, two and three-bedroom apartments are welcomed into curated spaces of exquisite materials and finishes.
Warm palettes of industrial elements, such as anodised bronze panelling, are offset by softer textured off-white exterior treatments and polished edges.
Ironside was able to deliver on the promised excitement and colour of the facade by mirroring the grandeur and serenity of picturesque Port Phillip Bay. The resulting building is both considered and luxurious, unique and respectful, modern and instantly classic.
